FAQs
Common Questions
Can I bring a group of friends for a celebration?
Do I need to book in advance?
We run a drop-in, pay-as-you-go system. Booking is only required for first free class, large groups, table reservations at events, or private lessons.
What are the prices?
Typical classes and event nights range between £10–£15. Students with valid ID and NHS staff get £2 off.
Can anyone join, regardless of age or background?
Yes — our classes attract a diverse crowd: from teens upwards, from students to working professionals, retirees — all backgrounds, all skill levels. Everyone is welcome! We recommend you call us if you are unsure on 07775 624089.
Who takes dances classes?
I’m a complete beginner — can I still join?
Absolutely. We have classes designed for complete beginners every week.
A typical dance night?
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and smooth-soled shoes (leather or flat soles recommended). Avoid sticky trainers — they can make turning and footwork harder and strain your knees. Wearing layers is fine as classes can get warm.
Do I need a partner to join the clas?
No — you don’t need a partner. We rotate partners during class, and many people come solo.
Who can dance?
For our partner dances, you do not have to bring a dance partner as the ratio is generally even and we rotate partners throughout the class. However if you do want to learn with your dance partner and remain together that is also fine. You do not have to book you class in advance, we run a drop in service, so simply turn up and join in
