3.00pm – 5.00pm
Workshop will focus on finding smooth and powerful body movement with Rumba & Cuban Salsa.
✧ This workshop is high energy and focused on musicality, expression and performance.
✧ Jennifer will cover technique, dynamics and will incorporate other Cuban dances into styling such as Timba, Son and Afro – Cuban Orishas.
✧ 2 hours of high energy dance training – 1 hour of styling technique and 1 hour of choreography.

Jennifer White
Jennifer is an accomplished professional dancer, performer, teacher, musician and choreographer based in the UK.
Jennifer is an accomplished professional dancer, performer, teacher, musician and choreographer based in the UK.
Throughout her professional training, Jennifer has received multiple awards from the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association), where she studied Ballet, Jazz and Musical Theatre amongst others. As a mature student, Jennifer graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Contemporary Dance and Choreography from the renowned dance hub of the North East, Dance City.
Within her Salsa and Latin training, Jennifer has been taught by some of the worlds most accomplished artists and choreographers, where she most recently training with Raíces Profundas in Cuba, who are widely regarded as one of the world’s most authentic performing ensembles in the Yoruba traditions and Afro-Cuban dances.
She has received comprehensive training in Latin dance and has been most inspired through Cuban dances. In this special area of expertise, Jennifer has trained in Salsa, Cabaret, Reggaeton, Rumba, Afro-Cuban Orishas, Son, Cha Cha Cha as well as others. Jennifer has now collectively transformed her passion for Latin music, culture and previously studied dance genres, into a thriving career and has gone on to win several accolades, including being the champion of The European Open Salsa Championship in the Cuban Salsa freestyle category.
Jennifer is well known for her elegant, powerful dance style and energetic classes, where she enjoys teaching technique and expressive choreographies that incorporate her love for musicality. She infuses every class with her love for dance and very much thrives on helping dancers find their voice through movement.
As a musician, Jennifer has performed as a solo Trumpet player in the UK and Europe as part of an accredited orchestra and has sung professionally with Musical Theatre choirs across the UK.
